Instructions

Laura worked with the documentation group, writing manuals. These were her final instructions:
  1. To create a new R-Mail account, click Login.
  2. Enter a new User ID and Password.
  3. Should you forget your password, ask any System Administrator to retrieve your messages for you. Note: The owners of your company and their friends in management all have Administrator privileges, as do all the original developers at Rambunctious Software.
  4. Delete each incoming message immediately after you’ve read it
  5. Do not commit to anything in writing
  6. Keep your opinions to yourself.
  7. Give up.
  8. Log out.

  3. I have been close to writing that! I write user documentation and I have seen some weird stuff, and I'd love to see something like this some day. As far as reflecting the corporate mentality, your poem goes very far in showing it how it often is!
