Loss

Source: FindMyBrick
Here I am with my nose to the floor, pulling up vents, frantically searching for a single piece of the Lego set we opened not two hours ago, searching for the goggles that clip to the helmet of the Anakin Skywalker that’s sitting there waiting in the model of the Naboo fighter he flew to victory in The Phantom Menace. Rowan, as usual, couldn’t care less, which only makes me angrier and that much more determined to restore this tiny bit of integrity to the once perfect set before it loses everything to the general chaos of the brick bin.

Also posted to ABC Wednesday.

  3. It's hard when you lose something and you can't find it.

  4. It's been a while since the Legos were out of the box in our house but I do remember well all the teeny, tiny pieces. I like your close-up view of the missing goggles.
