Opportunist

J. G. Sing, boozhooing and meegwetching his way around Honey Harbour thought he had the upper hand. A grafty weekend in Penetang, and his work was done. “Sure, these islands are available—going cheap too! I otta know, I’m the surveyor. Want all of them? Get your buddies to sign up with you. Pay me twenty beans, and I’ll do the paper work. Just send in these maps along with your 50 bucks, and you’ll be a shoe-in. But hurry, everyone in the Legislature wants one, and they’re going like hot cakes. You should see the one I got.”
