My New Dentist (1986)

Last month, one of my molars started bothering me just enough to break my longstanding dental moratorium. My old dentist had wanted my wisdom teeth out, but I didn’t want to, and since I was soon to be off my mother’s dental plan, I just never did, but I did try to brush well.
Then, I had my own dental plan, and still stayed away.
     Then, my tooth hurt.
My new dentist also thinks I should have my wisdom teeth out, but he’s not so insistent. And besides, he says he’ll send me to a specialist who offers intravenous Valium.

  1. It’d be best if you went with what your dentist has advised you on, to avoid further complications regarding your dental health. Anyway, how are you feeling nowadays? I hope you haven’t had any problems with your wisdom teeth. Take care!

  2. There are a lot of health risks associated with keeping your wisdom teeth in. They can cause pain because they only grow out of your gums partway, they can shift your current teeth placement, and they can cause cysts to form. Regardless of how insistent your new dentist is, I would recommend having them removed before you experience anymore symptoms!
